Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Chmielno

Temple dates to 1887 and most probably has the most Kashubian decor in the entire region. The ceiling is ornamented by polychrome from the 50s of 20th century with motifs from Kashubian embroidery. Among symbols associated with the Trinity and the Eucharist might be noticed a griffin – the emblem of Kashubia. Moreover, benches and confessionals are ornamented with typically Kashubian motifs.
